About the Founder

Rabbi Moshe Shimon Reichberg
leads the annual Lag BaOmer pilgrimage to the kevarim of the Bobover Rebbes Rav Shlomo and Rav Naftuli zy"a, in the Floral Park Cemetery in New Jersey. Rav Naftali Zvi, zy”a, once uttered the mysterious words, “Rabi Shimon ben Yochai will be with me on Lag BaOmer.” These words have inspired thousands to visit the Bobover Rebbes' ohel, seeking spiritual uplift and yeshuos (salvations of all kinds). Rabbi Reichberg witnessed the first stories of answered prayers and took initiative to expand and publicize it to the world. Today, it welcomes a diverse crowd united by faith and tefillah.

His Role
  • Kvittelach: Receives and places prayer requests from around the world at the kever.
  • Visitor Experience: Arranges tents, seating, and food to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.
  • Logistics: Manages parking, signage, and access for kohanim.
  • Ladies: Arranges ohel for kohanim, and separate ladies' section and pathway, to ensure that tzniyus is upheld.
  • Security: Coordinates with local authorities to ensure a safe, smooth event.

Community Impact
Under his leadership, the gathering has become a trusted source of hope. Countless stories of healing, children, and shidduchim are shared each year. The event continues to grow, fueled by real results and spiritual connection.

A Legacy Continued
Rabbi Reichberg follows in the footsteps of his father, Reb Mendel Reichberg z"l, who restored Jewish cemeteries in Europe to their former glory. His work brings Jews of all backgrounds together in unity and prayer, making this pilgrimage a meaningful tradition for all of Klal Yisrael.
